I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology from Arizona State University in 2012. From there I was a Medical Sales Rep. for 3 years. I completed my Administrator in Training program with Plum Healthcare Group LLC and received my Nursing Home Administrator License in 2016. My favorite part about being an Administrator is getting to see all of the lives that are blessed by skilled nursing from the staff to the Residents and visitors that walk through the doors.
My mission in life is to make every day better than the day before. Making a difference in the lives of our Residents is my top priority. I became an LVN 18 years ago after completing my education through Sutter County One Stop. The last 10 years of my nursing career has been spent as an MDS Coordinator. I am proud to say that I am a member of the compassionate nursing team here at Marysville Post-Acute.
Favorite quote “See the light in others and treat them as if that’s all you see.” I have been in healthcare for 16 years. The last 4 years have been spent as a Medical Records Director. Through my years I have also certification as a C.N.A., EMT, and a pharmacy technician. I have enjoyed working at Marysville Post-Acute since March 2018 and look forward to continuing to provide good care to our residents.
I served 6 years in The US Navy and had 3 overseas deployments. After the military, I worked as a computer electronics tech until I realized I had a calling to care for people who can’t care for themselves. I graduated from Unitek nursing school in 2014 with Academic Achievement /Valedictorian and received a perfect attendance award. I have been working in skilled nursing for five years and 2 of those years have been here at Marysville Post-Acute. The first year here, I spent as Minimum Data Set Nurse; I was then promoted to Director of Staff Development/Infection Control Nurse. I enjoy interacting with residents and having a dedicated team to achieve the highest level of patient care.
Nursing has been my passion for the past six years. I love to provide great care and compassionate nursing to all our Residents. I enjoy knowing no matter how small the impact I may make; I DO make a difference in someone else’s life daily. I feel that my unique skill set of being a natural leader and having superb communication will only support my goal to become an RN in the near future.
What I enjoy most about my job is that I get to come to work every day to help our Residents. I have been working at this facility since 1999. Through all of my years of employment here, I have worked or assisted in almost every department. I attended American River College with a focus in Social Service work. In addition, I completed a college course to be a certified Activities Director and recently completed my certification to be a licensed CNA. I enjoy working with the residents and providing activities that they enjoy and make them happy.
I have been in the foodservice industry for 21 years, 10 of those years have been employed in skilled nursing facilities. I have been Dietary Service Supervisor since 2015. I work diligently to stabilize weight loss and ensure great tasting healthy food for our Residents. I enjoy being able to make and teach how to produce delicious food that makes people happy. I am ServSafe certified as well as Nutrition and Foodservice Professional Training Program certified. I am proud to have been selected to be Department Head of the Month and Employee of the Month while serving here at Marysville Post-Acute.
I have an expansive skill set that allows me to provide timely and accurate maintenance resolutions for our staff and Residents. When doing projects, I maximize my skillset to provide quality workmanship in order to provide the best care for our residents. I take pleasure in knowing that I can problem solve all maintenance needs with the most effective result. My experience includes a total of 19 years in skilled nursing facilities. Three years were in the capacity of a CNA, three years in social services, and thirteen years as a maintenance supervisor. I look forward to continuing to provide the best care and resolve problems as quickly as possible.
I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology, five years of experience in skilled nursing, and two years in social services. Seeing my Resident’s smile and making lasting friendships is what I love about my job. In my past, I have been a CNA, completed Medical Assistant training, and received my SSD certification. I plan to continue my education to obtain my doctorate. My goal as Social Services Director is to ensure my Residents feel safe and cared for. Furthermore, while in my care, I want each of my Residents to feel that they have an advocate to help them meet their goals and live the best quality of life possible.
I have worked in healthcare for over 10 years. I have worked in numerous capacities such as CNA, Receptionist, Medical Records, and Business Office Assistant. I enjoy interacting with our residents and family members by getting to know them on a personal level. I pride myself by educating our residents on how their insurance correlates with their skilled needs. My goal is to ultimately finish nursing school and become an RN, to make even more of a difference in the lives of our residents.
I graduated in 2008 with my Bachelor’s from Manila Adventist College and after that went to school at The Philippines Rehabilitation Institute to get my Master's. I have 7 years of experience in physical therapy in 2 different states; 5 years were spent in outpatient hospitals and 2 years in skilled nursing facilities. I enjoy working with different residents and helping them with their needs in terms of their functional deficits. I am currently working towards my goal of getting my Private Pilot license. I enjoy playing guitar in my spare time.
My goal is to bring superb customer service to our rural community by accurately collecting and billing for Marysville Post-Acute. I have 17 years of experience in skilled nursing facility billing, as well as my Associate's degree in Business Management. Before I began my journey here at Marysville Post-Acute, I was a business office manager at a sister facility. After recognizing my success at a facility level I was promoted to a Corporate Billing Consultant. One of the things that I enjoy most about my job is my great co-workers and management team here at MPA. In addition, I love to help my Residents and families by providing them with help and knowledge to navigate through the complex world of medical billing/insurance coverage in skilled nursing.
I started working for Marysville Post Acute in early 2018. Previously I was employed with Apple INC in the payroll department. I possess a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and am an undergrad student for HR and psychology. I am currently working toward my goal of obtaining my Bachelor's degree in HR/Psychology. My most cherished part about working here at MPA is seeing the smile on an employee’s face after I am able to resolve an issue, handling multiple tasks and successfully finishing them.
